Terms of service

These terms apply to the hosted ContaMCP service operated by Fernando Guillen at the production MCP endpoint and this website. By using the hosted service, you agree to these terms. Self-hosted deployments have their own operators; the source code remains available under its MIT license.

What the service does

ContaMCP stores income, expenses and planning records you authorize through a compatible assistant. It is a bookkeeping aid, not a bank, payment service or professional adviser. It does not move money, verify bank payments, file taxes or cancel merchant subscriptions. Reports describe your recorded data, not your actual account balance. Review records and assistant responses before relying on them for financial decisions.

Your account and instructions

Sign in with your own Google account or a provisioned ContaMCP email account, and authorize only assistants you trust. Accounts using different sign-in methods are not automatically linked. You must meet the age and eligibility requirements of your Google account, chosen assistant and applicable law. Keep those accounts secure, and revoke connections you no longer use. Only submit information you are entitled to store and share. Do not put passwords, authentication codes, payment-card details or government identification numbers in ledger entries, tool requests or support messages. Enter a ContaMCP password only on its dedicated email sign-in form, and a Google password only on Google's own sign-in page.

You are responsible for the instructions you authorize and for checking amounts, currencies, dates and the exact record selected for a correction or deletion. Do not use the service for unlawful activity, fraud, unauthorized access, or attempts to disrupt the service or access another user's records.

Recurring bookkeeping

Establishing a recurring schedule enables automatic bookkeeping on billing dates unless you select manual recording. Automatically recorded entries are unverified until you confirm the payment. Scheduled processing can be delayed or fail. Pause or cancel a schedule when you no longer want future entries. Disconnecting an assistant or revoking its token does not stop standing schedules, delete records or cancel a merchant charge.

Your data and privacy

You retain ownership of the information you submit. You permit us to store and process it as needed to provide the service and execute your authorized instructions, as explained in the privacy policy. Authorized assistants receive tool results under their own terms and privacy practices.

Keep independent backups using the export tools. Deleting an entry hides it from active results but retains audit history. Account deletion is not self-service; contact fernandoguillen.apps@gmail.com for access or deletion requests. Do not send credentials or financial documents in your initial message. Disconnecting alone does not erase stored data.

Availability and changes

This is an early service provided on a best-effort basis, without a guaranteed uptime, support response time or error-free operation. Infrastructure limits, maintenance and third-party outages may interrupt it. We may restrict abusive access or suspend access when necessary to protect users or the service. Features or the hosted service may change or end; when reasonably practicable, we will provide notice of material changes and an opportunity to export your data. Updated terms will be posted here with an effective date.

Service limitations and your rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available, without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. These terms do not exclude or limit rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including any mandatory consumer protections.

Contact
